Midsummer Mayhem

Summer started out completely normal (well, what passes for normal if you live over 8000 miles from "home").  We flew from Munich to Denver and settled in for 3 weeks.  And then it all went a bit crazy.  In the past 3 weeks we have:

🚗 Breckenridge to Denver

✈ Denver to Vancouver

🚢 7 days around the Alaskan Coastline

🚌 Seward to Anchorage

✈ Anchorage to Seattle

✈ Seattle to Denver

🚗 Denver to Breckenridge

21 hours later

🚗 Breckenridge to Denver

✈ Denver to Miami

✈ Miami to Cartagena

✈ Cartagena to Miami

🚗 Miami to Naples

and we finish it all up today with our final

🚗 Naples to Miami and

✈ Miami to Munich.

We will arrive tomorrow morning, jet-lagged and weary, but with memories of a lifetime filling our thoughts.  I will share them here when I finally have a minute to sit down (perhaps the 11 hours of flying time today?).
