Who we are

LET ME INTRODUCE YOU...

WHO AM I?

I am the wife, the mother, the photographer and the memory keeper in this family of ours.  I am the planner, the complainer, the loud one.  I love to travel to new places and if you want me to move there, all the better.  I am an avid reader, researcher and I live for my family - near and far.  I am the one you will complain to if you don't like something I have written because the little's are, well, just too little to agree or disagree with my written take on things.  And B, he just knows that as long as I am happy, he is happy.

The long-suffering husband.  When he met me in a bar back in 2002 he couldn't have possibly foreseen this life we lead now, 15 years later.  He is surrounded by estrogen (even the dog and cat are female) and really gets outvoted in every single situation...and is ok with all of it.  He has put up with me for far too long and for that I think he deserves a medal.  Add to that two little girls, ages 10 and 8 and he deserves sainthood.  The only thing keeping him from being nominated is the fact that he moves us to random locations in the world (yay) and then promptly disappears on "work trips" for 3 out of 4 weeks each month.  Somehow, he still manages to be the head of the household (she says, tongue in cheek, as she knows who really runs things around here).

MADHATTER

Our first born.  Our leader.  She is funny, she is thoughtful, she is sensitive.  She is 10.  She is a joy to be around and a very trusty sidekick who can usually be found snuggled up on my lap while I am writing these posts.

STINKERBELL

Our baby.  Our last.  She is our lover, the fighter, and the button pusher.  She is goodness and light and nothing but hugs most days.  This is the child that was made to make you laugh.  She idolizes her big sister and can't wait to be just like her.  She is 9 and I am still trying to wrap my head around how she got that big.
