The first stop on our home leave trip this summer was Colorado and were there for 11 full days. 11 action packed days full of fun. And one day filled with the bureaucracy of the DMV but I won't bore you with the ridiculous details of what it takes to renew your license in a country you don't really live in but need a license for and yet don't have a house in and still have to prove that you live there...But I will bore you with one final post featuring the pictures from our everyday happening and a few words about our adventures. Enjoy...because tomorrow we are changing scenery and heading from the mountains to the beach.

Most afternoons the girls could be found in the backyard (yes, this is the backyard) on this swing. |
Haircuts for all. 9" off for MadHatter - 7" for Stinkerbell. |
A belated birthday trip to the American Girls store and a photo op with their favorite girl. |
Many smiles and lots of fun in the hot tub. |
A night of Disney music and movie clips at the symphony downtown. |
We celebrated my birthday with a day of shopping and dinner out with these stylish girls. |
A wish fulfilled! Stinkerbell has been wanting to make a penguin mug just like her sisters for the past 4 years and we just haven't had the time. This year we finally got back to Ready, Paint Fire and made her dreams come true... |
We went down to the lake and tried to walk on water - it's a lot harder than it looks. |
And this one just had to try too... |
The girls did some wild strawberry picking on their afternoon walk with Lucy... |
Suddenly, it was time to load up the RV and head to the airport for our second leg of this home leave...Fort Myers Beach, here we come. |
