Leaving Legoland

Yesterday, we had our last hurrah at Legoland.  It has been a fun few years being able to come and enjoy a day of sunshine, fun and family time here at the park but the girls are just getting too big for it.  In MadHatter's case, she is literally too tall to ride many of the attractions.  So, with our annual passes expiring at the end of the month we took one last trip and soaked it all in.

It really is bittersweet as we have had many a fun trip to the 'Land (noteably - Stinkerbell's birthday and the Gales family visit).  And of course, Stinkerbell is just finally getting up the courage for several of the faster rides and larger roller coasters but I am sure we will have bigger and better adventures in our future.

Thanks for the memories Legoland Deutschland.  It's been fun.

As always, a picture with "Grampa"
She had to go solo this time as MadHaater is too big to ride.
Piloting her own boat - for the first time.

Took her first ride on the BIG coaster - and loved it.

You guessed it - her first time on the x-wing...

And these two finished it off with a few rides on their favorite ride.
