Beach Life

Our summer break is officially over as of tomorrow morning but we really can't complain as we had our share of fun and sun and oh so much time in the water (seriously, are they mermaids?)  over the past 2 months. We played in the surf and the sand.  We lazed by the pool.  We had adult beverages and we conversed with our two visitors (Cousin Anne and Sam!)  The best part of all was that B came and spent the last 10 days of vacation with us!  The saddest part was that we had to say goodbye to Nana, Grampa, Lucy and Chacha until next time.  We still have our memories (and our pictures) and that keeps us going as we return to the everyday grind.  We are back home now, fighting jet lag and gearing up for school to start tomorrow.

But I am not quite ready to let go of summer, so I give you one last peek at some (many!) of our photo memories of our time in Florida...

Lucy loved the water as much as any of us.
Dad's famous Margaritas.
The beach is hard work.

Dancing in the ocean.
Big chair sitting.
That was some really good chocolate ice cream!
Reflextive sunset.
Lucy the surfing dog.

Swinging sisters on Nana and Grampa's porch.

Skim Boarding - it did not end well for any of us...

Boogie Board!

Paddle Ball fun...

Building sandmen while the worn out girl naps...

Chalk drawing.

Coconut cracking with Sam (who came to visit on his days off from Disney!).  This was one tough nut to crack but it was worth it...

Yoga on a bucket on the beach.
Big Chair sitting with Papa.
Pool fight!!!

"Formal" pictures

Bike riding beach babes.

Minature golf!
Wanted them to do the Crane Kick from Karate Kid but the reference was lost on them.
Stunning sunset.
One of the most colorful rainbows (double) I have seen.  And I love that we can see the end of it!
